Form + Function is an architectural firm with a reputation built on providing beautiful and livable design as well as proven technical expertise within the field. First and foremost the project must fulfill its function but through carefully thought out details and materials it takes on a higher form. We create unique spaces for real people.
Our driving philosophy is to generate "accessible architecture", a term that we coined to describe
innovative design and forward thinking architectural services that can scale for any price point
and any client type. Collaboration with our clients — individual homeowners, developers,
and private or non-profit organizations — results in design solutions that are unique to each project's need.
Our projects include private homes to urban infill and multi-family projects.
A successful project starts with a well made plan — bringing the right people to the table to help see the potential of each project. We have an excellent team of consultants and contractors we have worked with over the years that we can assemble as needed for your project.

The community supports us, so we do what we can to give back and support the community we live and work in. We volunteer our time on technical code committees to work on code development and in addition we provide design work for publicly funded projects that fulfill a need for special groups within our community.
A percentage of our firms profits go back into the community through annual contribution to some of our favorite local organizations such as Seattle Habitat for Humanity, Northwest Harvest, and Northwest Children's Fund.
